Magic Cookie Bars
Ingredients:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
- 1⅓ cups dark chocolate chips, divided
- 1⅓ cups shredded coconut, divided
- 1 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 1 x 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1¼ cups shredded coconut, divided
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 1 teaspoon extra coarse finishing salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium size bowl, combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs and fine salt.
- Press mixture evenly onto a parchment-lined 9x13" baking pan.
- Layer on top of crumb mixture evenly with 1 cup chocolate chips, followed by 1 cup shredded coconut and toasted pecans.
- Pour condensed milk overtop of mixture, getting as much coverage as possible. Top with remaining chocolate chips and coconut. Press down firmly.
- Bake approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove pan from oven and let cool completely in pan before cutting.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
