Sweet & Spicy Rub
This is one of my favourite rubs I like to use on pork tenderloin when I feel like a Southern-style meal or when I want a quick and easy dinner, but with lots of flavour. If you want your rub to be more on the sweeter side, use ½ cup brown sugar. This rub also lends itself well if roasting chicken.

Ingredients:
- ⅓ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 2½ tablespoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
