Whiskey Maple Glazed Pork Chops
I love cooking with alcohol. It adds a wonderful depth of flavour to any dish, especially with maple syrup. Pork chops are a perfect pair with this sweet and savoury glaze. I recommend not using a dry whiskey, otherwise its flavour will get muddled. If you don't have whiskey, bourbon is also a delicious substitute.

- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1½ tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
Pork:
- 2 boneless pork chops, brined
- kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
